Come study Reform Responsa with Rabbi Jenn! In this two-class series we will examine ethical and spiritual dilemmas that Jews have faced, and what the Reform Responsa committee has suggested based on an in-depth study of Jewish texts. Our first class will focus on the following question: Is it acceptable for Jews to participate in the customs and celebrations of Valentine’s Day and other non-Jewish holidays that are currently regarded as “secular” but that originated as religious observances?
