The Mossad in Operation Entebbe


Join us as we welcome back Avner Avraham to Congregation Shalom as he speaks about "Operation Entebbe," the successful counter-terrorist hostage-rescue mission carried out by commandos of the of the Israel Defense Forces in Uganda on July 4, 1976.

Avner Avraham serviced 28 years in the Mossad-Israeli Secret Intelligence Service. His connection to Entebbe began when he curated the first exhibition on Operation Yonatan. In the process of collecting testimoials and materials, Avner became the de-facto world expert for the subject, and continues to share behind-the-scene facts and stories of this valuable and emotional experience.
