High Holiday Box:

This is something we are very excited about!! These boxes include ritual items that will allow you to celebrate the holidays at home. These boxes will be available for pick up at Shalom beginning at our Kick off to 5781 school event on Saturday, September 12th. They will also be available at our Erev Rosh Hashanah Car Parade on Friday, September 18th from 4:00-5:30 p.m. at Shalom. To arrange for pick up the week of September 14th please email Abby. We are looking for volunteers to help deliver our boxes for our senior and homebound congregants, please email Abby if you are able to help! Click here.

Early Childhood Education Socially Distant Meet Ups:

Let's spend some time together (socially distant of course) on Rosh Hashanah! Based on feedback from our families, we created this in person event to better engage with our youngest members. We invite each of our families to sign up for a time on Saturday, September 19th from 8:30 a.m. till 10:30 a.m. Each family will sign up for a 15 minute session with a member of our clergy! We will read a story, share Rosh Hashanah greetings, and you can pick up your High Holy Day Shalom box- a box created for each family to celebrate the holidays at home! Click here to sign up. The deadline to sign up for this is Friday, September 18th.

High Holiday Prayer Books:

Because our services will be virtual we want to extend the opportunity to borrow or purchase prayer books to use with our virtual services. Click here to sign up to pick up prayer books. The deadline for signing up to borrow or purchase prayer books is Thursday, September 24th.

Meditative Moments in the Harry and Rose Samson Sanctuary:

We understand that being in our beautiful worship space is important to many of our congregants. In response, we have created an opportunity for congregants to sign up for a private moment in our sanctuary during the week between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur--the Ten Days of Awe. Click here to sign up for a time. You will then receive an email confirming your date and time. Each congregant/family will have 20 minutes to spend in the sanctuary. We will be cleaning the sanctuary between groups. We ask that everyone wear their masks while they are inside our building. We ask that you enter and leave the building through the Administrative entrance. The deadline for signing up is Thursday, September 24th. If you have any questions, please contact Abby. Click here

If you are in need of delivery of your High Holiday box, Erev Rosh Hashanah dinner, and/or prayerbooks, please email Abby and we will coordinate that one a case by case basis.
