Youth Activities
Youth Groups
If your child is in 3rd-12th grade, you will want to make sure they are on the youth groups' mailing lists so they will be informed of all the activities throughout the year. Click here for the new youth group brochure.
Congregation Shalom is dedicating significant resources to youth activities. Sisterhood has also made generous contributions to our youth programming. In addition, the youth groups raise money each year through the Purim Carnival and t-shirt sales. However, without dues, the youth groups cannot survive.
Therefore, we ask that each of you make your children members of SHFTY, SPFY, Club 56, or Club 34 for the 2007-2008 school year by filling out the registration form and paying the nominal dues. Dues for SHFTY (9th-12th graders) are only $25 per child and dues for SPFY (7th-8th graders), CLUB 56 (5th-6th graders) are only $15 per child, $5 for Club 34 (3rd-4th graders).
Please return the registration form with a check payable to Shalom and send them to Shalom Youth Groups, 7630 N. Santa Monica Blvd., Milwaukee, WI 53217. If you have any questions, please email Becky and Brad Dallet.

Club 34
CLUB 34 is the newest youth group at Shalom, and the perfect introduction for your 3rd and 4th grade kids to a Jewish youth program. This year, CLUB 34 was a purely social program, and 30 kids attended each event. The first event was held at Congregation Shalom, and featured a live, interactive song/dance program with Kids Are People Too. The second event took the kids off campus, to Pump It Up, where they jumped, bounced, slid, played, and ran through a series of inflatable activities. Becky and Brad Dallet have returned as advisors to this program, bringing their energy and 12 years of youth group leadership experience. The 4th graders are already talking about joining CLUB 56 next year, and the 3rd graders are eager for more events.

Jewish youth organize, plan, lead, and participate in social activities, social action programs, and leadership training. All activities relate to the lives of Jewish youth in today’s world. Conclave is held once a season in either the Twin Cities, Madison, Milwaukee, or Camp Olin Sang Ruby Union Institute (OSRUI) in Oconomowoc. Conclave is supervised by youth advisors from each youth group, a rabbinical advisor, and an administrator from the UAHC in Chicago.
Through local events...
