Confirmation: An Affirmation of Faith

During the tenth grade year, students in our Chai School program take part in special study with the rabbis as preparation for Confirmation – a ceremony in which they celebrate the public affirmation of their Judaism. The ceremony is celebrated at Congregation Shalom on the eve of Shavuot – the festival that marks the receiving of the Torah by Moses at Sinai.
